Dustin is a South Carolina native and joined Western Sky as a volunteer in April of 2011, becoming staff shortly thereafter. As Conservation Planning Manager, he oversaw planning, implementation and management of Western Sky's conservation projects. He holds degrees in historic preservation and community planning from The College of Charleston and a Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) from Clemson University. In addition, Dustin recently completed the Executive MBA program at the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business. As a former professional baseball player, he enjoys passing on his knowledge and passion for the game to young people by coaching baseball in Calgary. Dustin is also an avid outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, hiking, hunting, and training his Labrador retriever. He is passionate about conserving Alberta’s natural open spaces.
