Join us for our first public Bow and Beyond Initiative event! This forum aims to bring together representatives from all sectors to share ideas and build capacity for watershed conservation.

We are pleased to welcome Keynote Speaker Glen Tjostheim, Senior Planner, Land Use Secretariat who will be opening the Forum with a discussion of the Land Use Framework focusing on the South Saskatchewan Plan and the Land Stewardship Act. This will be followed by a panel discussion and breakout sessions.

The Bow & Beyond Initiative is a multi-pronged approach to conservation which strives to conserve additional lands along a stretch of the Bow River deemed by Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation to be of national significance. This will be achieved by increasing watershed awareness and developing community-based watershed stewardship.
