I live on a beautiful piece of native grassland near Madden, AB. We share this place with the deer, moose, elk, muskrat, and other wildlife that call our land home.
I earned a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary and went on to work for agricultural companies, first in research and then in sales and customer service roles. When my children were young, I worked with a variety of not-for-profit organizations, including the Airdrie & District Agricultural Society and the Rocky View Central Recreation Board. This led to a role at the City of Airdrie, where supported not-for-profit organizations as part of the Community Development team and the local businesses as part of the Economic Development team. In April 2024, I joined the Western Sky Land Trust team after spending 2.5 years leading another regional land trust in central Alberta. I'm excited to use my background in Biology, experience in the agriculture industry, and my passion for private land conservation in my new role at Western Sky. |
