Mary Jane Block

Being raised on a cattle ranch in the Great Sandhills in Saskatchewan, from a young age we were taught to value, respect and conserve the land we lived and worked on. My interest in the land led me to an Environmental Management degree and work in Oil & Gas, Industry Training and even the Pedigreed Seed Industry, before landing in the Land Trust world. I joined the Western Sky team in the summer of 2022 and most enjoy collaborating with landowners and walking across native grasslands. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing volleyball and slopitch, going to the gym, and most of all spending time with my two amazing adult daughters.
