Our story began with people who caredWestern Sky was formed by landowners, community members, and partners who shared a concern for the future of southern Alberta’s rivers, source water, grasslands, and working landscapes. They believed these places could be cared for in ways that also respected the people who live and work on them.
What began around rivers and source water has grown to include native grasslands and the working lands that connect them. The work has expanded, but the approach has not: listen carefully, understand each place, and find practical paths forward together. |
